LIVING IN DOMINION
Main Text: Genesis 1:28 “…have dominion over the birds.., the cattle.., and everything that moves on the earth”.
Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come bodly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”.
Dominion is power, authority or control over something or someone. It is the ability to request, command and expect a fulfillment of that appeal. To have dominion is to rule and to be in charge. To have dominion is to rule and to be in charge. Living in dominion therefore is recognizing who you are in Christ and understanding that in you, through Him is the power to lay hold onto the promises of God and possess them until the day of Christ.
Christ has all the power in heaven and on earth. A portion of this power has been given to everyone that believes in His name and that is living a new life by the works of His redemption. Such people are expected to walk in dominion every area. The reason why we should live in dominion is because God, from the inception of the World commanded us to (Gen. 1:28).
Exercise dominion in your career, academics, ministry and life in general. Show the world that Christ lives in you by becoming the best wherever you are anytime.
LET THE REDEEMED LIVE IN DOMINION
Prayer: I receive divine abilities to occupy and exercise dominion in every areas of my life from now.
