THE POWER WITHIN
Main text: Ephesians 3: 20 – Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Acts 1:8 – But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Paul made us realize there is a mighty power within us, such that the power is able to compel God to do much more than we can ever imagine or think. This power is a deposit, a gift from God when we give our lives to Him. This power is the Holy Spirit.
Act 1: 8a says, you shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Holy Spirit has been given to all believers so, we might not be stranded as we live on earth as Jesus did.
The Power within us makes us say no to all unrighteousness and help us live above sin. You cannot have this power and still be sinning. The power within make us live above principalities and powers; it gives us authority over every sickness and diseases. It makes us triumph like victors that we are. There is a need to activate this Power.
A constant relationship with God and putting to work our faith makes this power more profound. Holy Spirit is meant to be communicated with. 1 John 2:27 – And as for you, the anointing which you received of him abides in you, and you need not that anyone teach you; but as his anointing teach you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.
You are not ordinary, you are an extra ordinary being because you carry the breath of God and you have been transformed into His glorious light. Live above sin today, live above circumstances of life, live above troubles in this world today by activating the power within you. That power is at work in you to do, accomplish much more, far above what you can think or do.
DISCOVER THE POWER IN YOU AND DO EXPLOITS FOR THE LORD
Prayer: I put into work the power within me and I live with the consciousness that I can do all things through the power of God in me.
