DON’T BE A PERVERT

DON’T BE A PERVERT

Main text: Proverbs 17:20 – A man of perverse heart does not prosper; he whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble.

Proverbs 11:20 – The Lord detest men of perverse heart but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.

Justice and fairness is one of the core values of God. We should price them high in our dealings with others. When we fall short of it, we deny God and deny who we are in Christ. Today, many people even children of God eat out of telling lies and covering the truth.

To be a pervert means to become someone who accepts lies, falsehood, cheating and deceit as good and benefit thereof. The Lord enjoins us so always buy the truth and sell it not (Proverbs 23). Why? This is because truth guides you in the way everlasting.

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the just have become the order of the day-this is wickedness and God is not pleased with those who engage in it. When you divert the truth or justice, you promote wickedness in the land and this can lead to generational destruction.

Many people have lost their lives, homes and other valuables as a result of perversion – there is no gain in this. You may think you are benefiting but at the long run, trouble is what you will reap. The Kingdom of darkness thrives on lies, falsehood, duplicity and deceit while the Kingdom of God thrive on honesty, truth, justice and straightforwardness.

Don’t be a child of God and practice the tradition of hell. You are Christ’s ambassador and therefore, you should allow the light of God shine through you. Don’t let yourself be swallowed up by greed and covetousness. Really, stand by the truth even when it is most difficult.

PERVERSION IS A DEMONIC DISEASE, BEWARE OF IT.

Prayer: Oh God, help me to keep my hearts pure for you in Jesus name. Amen
