WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION

WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION

Main text: Philippians 2:12 –Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed – Not only in my presence but now much more in my absence – Continue to work out your Salvation with fear and trembling.

Matthew 7: 21 – Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord you enter the Kingdom of heaven but only the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven.

First, how can a person receive Salvation? We can simply find it in Romans 10:9 which reads, “But if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”. In this short powerful Bible verse lies the secret mystery of the salvation for man.

If then you have been saved, there is a work to do. Beloved, this work expected does not mean that grace of God is unproductive but you see, Salvation is very precious and cannot be purchased or attained through any means except Jesus Christ.

Salvation must be taken very seriously, kept with the holy fear – With all carefulness and passionate zeal to please God. It is beyond the fear of Hellfire but a reverence to worship God and never lose the worship with the Holy Spirit.
It is not those who call Lord, Lord we enter God’s Kingdom but it is for those who are doers of God’s word.

IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO CONFESS JESUS, LIVE THE LIFE.

Prayer: Oh God, may I not be a cast away in your Kingdom. I will end well in Jesus name.
