AFTER PRISON COMES THE PALACE
Main Text: Genesis 41:41 – “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, see, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
From the above topic, we discover that man lives in a world of unforeseen adventure to the unknown.The world we live in is not a bed of roses for there are thongs on the path way. As believers, we take solace in God’s word that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose- Romans 8:28. In Jeremiah 29:11, God said that his plan for man is prosperity and not disaster to bring man to an expected end.
Brethren, so long you walk up-rightly and obey God, his plan and purpose must be accomplished in your life. Many a times, the devil misguides man using fellow human being even your own brothers or sisters to stop God’s plan in your life. It happened with Joseph the son of Israel whose brothers sold to Egypt where he was eventually imprisoned all to stop God’s plan and purpose in his life. Gen; 37:28. Joseph remained steadfast by obeying all the commandments of God. God blessed Joseph and took steps that later brought Joseph to the throne of governorship in Egypt.
There were other servants of God who had different imprisonment experiences among them was Daniel. Daniel’s imprisonment was in the pit of lions. When he was set free and came out unhurt by divine grace, the Bible said that he prospered greatly. God is waiting to do same to as many as will live a life of obedience and reverence to him.
I SEE GOD TAKING YOU FROM A LOWLY PLACE TO A HEIGHT OF GREAT HONOR
