TUESDAY – MARCH 16, 2021
NOT JUST A SUNDAY THING
Main Text- 2Kings 17:38-39- Do not forget the covenant I have made with you and do not worship other Gods. Rather worship the Lord your God, it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.
John 4:23- Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the father in the spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the father seeks.
This is a subject on true worship to God and who a true worshipper is. A true worshipper focuses on God, His agenda is to please God and never displease Him in order to please men. True worship is a whole life response to God’s greatness and glory- Todd Sturgell. The only fitting response to all He has done is to give back to Him all that we have.
God made a covenant of worship with man and he expects us to keep it daily and not just a Sunday event. You know we have those clothes that we categorize as Sunday worship attire and that holy countenance people put on just for Sundays then after fellowship, it turns to the looks of tigers. This is not how God wants our worship.
Our worship must be in Spirit and in truth and in truth- the spirit teaching us daily and we living with the truth-Christ in us, in all sincerity. If Sunday is the only day for God what happens to the remaining days of the week?
WORSHIP TO GOD IS A DIALY LIVING UNTO GOD
Prayer-O God, give me the grace to worship you daily without compromise in Jesus name. Amen
