SUBMIT TO GOD’S WILL
Main Text- Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is; His good, pleasing and perfect will.
1Peter 5:6- Humble yourselves therefore under God’s mighty hand that He may lift you up in due time
In our study today, we can see the three makeup of the will of God- it is good, pleasing and perfect. There is no mistake in choosing to live your life absolutely on the will of God. It is the best decision any one can give to himself and family, abiding in the leading of God in all areas of life.
Naturally, it is difficult to follow God because it means that our will which opposes God’s plan for our lives must be dropped. It is only the mind that is not conformed to worldly pattern that will obey or agree to God’s will. Humility helps us to conform to godly pattern of thinking. When our minds are conformed to God, it means that we appreciate the best will for us in God’s perfect will.
Let us consider a man like Abraham, at his age of divine encounter with God; he had every excusable reason not to go with the plan of God for his life. He did not question God Why He delayed to come till he was old. At any age that you discover God’s will for you, abide by that will and your end shall be glorious.
THE WILL OF GOD IS ALWAYS THE GLORIOUS DESTINY OF MAN. FOLLOW HIS WILL
Prayer- O lord, show me mercy in area that I refused your perfect will. I will never end in shame. Amen.
