TAKE DOMINION
MAIN TEXT: JOHN 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe on His name”
Psalm 8:6 – You make him to rule over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet.
To have dominion implies to rule over or take charge over what happens in your life and environment. It is the plan of God from creation to place man above other creatures (Genesis 1:28b). That is to say, He wants man to be in charge of His world as He created man in His own image and after His Likeness.
David took dominion over the ‘Mighty Goliath’ who terrorized the Israelites, despite his age, and negative opinions from detractors around him, he understood whom God is and whom he has made him to be (1 Samuel 17:46).
Therefore, the consciousness of whom God is and your position in Him, gives you the faith and boldness to decide the fate of every Goliath confronting you as well as to determine what happens in your environment.
IT TAKES A MAN OF PRAYER WHO IS LOADED WITH GOD’S WORD TO TAKE DOMINION
Prayer: I receive the anointing to take dominion over every Goliath and challenges that are confronting me Amen.
