LIVE BY DIVINE DIRECTION
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 119:105 – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:7 –
For we walk by faith, not by sight
First, God provides us with direction. When you trust God and know God, he will “direct your path.”
Secondly, God provides a destination. God gives us a clear direction and destination. Sometimes, God allows us to go through times of trial and tribulation. However, God’s direction and destination lead to the perfect and best goal.
Jonah ended up in the belly of a fish not because he didn’t hear God’s voice, he did but chose not to follow God’s instructions, even the children of Israel were led by God throughout the wilderness but they got into so much trouble each time they refused to heed to divine instruction and God called them a stiff necked people.
A lot of us are like that with God even now and I leave you with this one question, are you willing to be led by God?
IT IS A FAITH WALK AND IT IS MORE PROFITABLE
Prayer: O Lord, give me the eyes and heart of faith to follow you even when I don’t understand where you’re leading me.
