EXERCISE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
MAIN TEXT: LUKE 10:19
“Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you”.
Psalm 18:44-45 “…… the strangers shall hear (your) voice and as soon as they do, they shall fade away from their hiding places.”
Beloved of God, you have the power and authority, so exercise them. Many of us need to know how much power and authority is working inside us. That was why Apostle Paul prayed this prayer in Ephesians 1:18-19; “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.”
He said that when your eye of understanding is enlightened you will know what power and authority is working inside you. “But as many as received Him to them gave He power” John 1:12. You are a product of power and authority.
You came from the Almighty Omnipotent God. “Like begets like”. You have the God-order of power and authority. When you first believeth, he gave you power and authority. Then when you were baptized in the Holy Ghost, you were endowed with superlative unction (Acts 1:18).
You should give yourself a sense of superiority over the cruel forces of the enemy. Whatever position you find yourself as a believer, no enchantment can work against you. You must carry “the greater one mentality” when you are dealing with any problem. You cannot have dominion without power and authority. It is power and authorithy that forces your enemies to obey God’s voice in you.
WALK IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE SPIRITUAL POWER AND AUTHORITY THAT YOU CARRY.
Prayer: Mighty Father help me to exercise my divine authority so that the world will know that greater is He that is in me.
