LIVING BEYOND THE STORMS

Main Text: 1 Samuel 17:32 – And David said to Saul, let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistines. (KJV)

Psalm 23:4 – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (KJV)

Storm could be seen as any situation that stands to frighten, terrorize and make you feel that God cannot deliver you. It could be in form of sickness, failure and threats from men. Seeing beyond the storm implies believing and claiming your victory over every challenge that confronts you even when it seems impossible. Here, you see with the eyes of faith as you act upon the promises of God embedded in His word.

David overcame the great and powerful Goliath by faith even when he was discouraged by everyone around him. King David did not see the battle with the eyes of men but with the eyes of God. The word tells us that by faith we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20).

God requires us to see with the eyes of faith and not the eyes of fear so that we can be able to overcome every storm that comes our way. Until you begin to think, see and act according to God’s word, then you will sail through every storm that comes on your way.

WITH AN EYE OF FAITH, YOU CAN SEE BEYOND THE STORM.

Prayer: I overcome every storm facing me today, in Jesus name, Amen!
