FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD DAILY

Main Text: Jeremiah 29:13 – And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Psalm 63:1-O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry land where no water is.

In most churches on Sundays, you find a large number of people, the church pews are filled from inside out, that atimes, extra tents are hired and mounted to accommodate the mammoth crowd. But another visit to the same church during a week day service leaves you speechless and gives you much to ponder about. This has been the trend in most churches around.

It is the duty of every believer to work out his or her gift of salvation that has been bestowed freely upon us. This includes having a personal relationship with God and having constant fellowship with brethren in church. Psalm 133:1 says “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity,” it should not just be a Sunday thing, amidst our busy schedule, we should understand that it is our creator that gives us the power to make wealth.

Whichever church you find yourself, whatever ministry you attend. Make time to attend weekday activities such as bible studies, prayer meetings, night vigils and personal devotions, for it is during these meetings we have the opportunity to know more of our maker, never allow other programs, limit your Christian fellowship to Sundays alone. It can weaken a Christian. Make a change and decide to seek God diligently because He always reveals Himself to those who diligently seek Him in spirit and in truth.

Beloved make a resolution today to be committed in things concerning the Lord and in your local church.
