PRESS HARDER
Main Text: Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee, He will not fail thee nor forsake thee.’’
Proverbs 29:25 –
“The fear of a man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”
Pressing harder is essential for anyone to succeed and be effective in all life endeavours and ministry. God is looking for men and women who are faithful and determined to press harder to achieve their goals in life. It was on this search that God found David (Psalm 89:20), when God searches a person out and commits an assignment into his or her hands, such a person must realize that stewardship is trust that must not be abused.
You have to be focused on your own mandate and never use another man’s parameter to evaluate your life, rather you should have a target and press harder to actualize it, to the glory of Almighty God.
In the face of threats of any kind, never cast away your confidence by giving way to discouragement or fear, rather have full believe that you will achieve your goals in life, so press harder. “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. (Hebrews 10:35). I encourage you to be courageous, diligent and press harder in whatever situation you may find yourself, and God shall be with you.”
WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, GOD WILL BE WITH YOU.
Prayer: Father help me to be courageous and press harder in order to achieve my goals in life. Amen.
