PRAISE THE LORD
MAIN TEXT – PSALM 150:6 – Let everything that hath breathe praise the Lord, Praise ye the Lord.
Psalm 22:3 – The Holy One of Israel inhabits in our praises.
From our main text, ‘praise ye the Lord’ is a commandment to every believer. Praising God is a spiritual activity. It is the best way to express our emotions thereby showing reverence to our God. We praise God for what He has done, for His ultimate authority and we magnify and glorify Him for all His benefits, goodness and mighty acts towards us – Psalm 148:1-14.
When our hearts , homes and churches are filled with praises, they are filled with the presence of God. Praise precedes victory. When Paul and Silas began praises in the prison, God answered them. Acts 16:25-26. King Jehoshaphat by divine instruction placed singers before his army and when they praised God, the Lord set ambushment against his enemies and defeated them. 2 chronicles 20:21-22.
The importance of praises cannot be over emphasized, child of God, always dwell in praises because it’s a shield and turns situations for the good of the Christian. The victorious life of a Christian must be a life of excess praise to God no matter what the devil brings on the way.
PRAISE IS REFUSING TO CONFESS THE NEGATIVITIES AND CONFESS THE POSITIVE ACTS OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE.
PRAYER- I decree that praise will not lack on my lips all the days of my life in Jesus name
