QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION
MAIN TEXT: REVELATION 2:26
“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.”
Galatians 5:1- “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
To be a perfect Christian, you must be steadfast, your faith must be built on Jesus Christ and no one else. This is because Hebrews 12:2 says, He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. You must know Jesus as the Great Provider because 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor so that we might be rich. This should be enough motivation for you never to compromise your faith because of the riches of Gentiles. Great achievers often achieve great things simply because they refuse to give up or quit.
Persistence is one of the most common qualities of great achievers. The longer you stay in the race, even if you aren’t the fastest or the most highly conditioned, the more likely you are to prevail. You must cross the finish line. Matthew 24:13 says that “But he that shall endure unto the end shall be saved.”
Apostle Paul told Timothy in the book of 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. May this be our testimony in the end.
WE ARE JUDGED BY HOW WE FINISHED, NOT BY HOW WE STARTED.
PRAYER: King of Glory, grant me the enablement to always press towards your goals and objectives for me in Jesus Name. Amen
