SATURDAY APRIL 9, 2022
YOU WILL REJOICE AGAIN
MAIN TEXT: EZEKIEL 32:29 (RSV) – And I will provide for them prosperous
plantation so that they shall no more be consumed by hunger in the land, and no
longer suffer the reproach of nations.
Psalms 126:1 (RSV) When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like
those who dream.
Life is full of ups and downs. This means that sometimes in life you experience good or bad moments. The question is,
what is your reaction or attitude when the bad happens? Do you feel like it is the
end of the world and there is no need for living ? God has forsaken you or worse still;
there is no God? I want to let you know that you are getting it all wrong. God is
alive for ever. His eyes go to and fro all creations. He says that before you were conceived he knew you and nothing happens without His knowledge. God may
have allowed you pass through what you are passing through to see if you will
trust him to see you through the challenges.
No matter the wilderness, sad or painful experiences you maybe passing through
now, never think that God does not care or He has forgotten you. Be encouraged
by the word of God. Trust absolutely in God. Remember that whatever that has a
beginning has an end. No condition is permanent. The bible says that there is time
for everything, a time to experience difficulties and a time to overcome them.
Only anchor yourself onto God. Belief, trust and obey His words, He is too
faithful to fail you. Today’s devotional topic is coming as an encouragement and
assurance that you should not look at the now moment but to trust in God’s words
and promises and you will be smiling. The bible says that weeping
may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Ps 30:5).
TRUST IN THE LORD GOD
Prayer: My Father, help me by your Spirit to overcome the troubles of
life and let the brightness of your countenance shine on me again. Amen!
