WICKEDNESS CANNOT STOP YOU
MAIN TEXT: Psalm 10:12, 14 – Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand… You note mischief… that you may take it into your hands.”
Matthew 2:19 – Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.”
The hand refers to strength. So, “Break the arm of the wicked” (Psalm 10:15), means “Break their power.” David asks God to use his divine power to break the power of the wicked. As long as we’re in this world, we will face the challenge of wickedness. But God in His mercy restrains it, so that however dark the world becomes it is never as bad as it could be, if it were not for the grace of God.
The wicked can go all out to intimidate and torment the one they hate but for the righteous man, they cannot overrun him. The Almighty God will cause them to bow before you at the end of it all. There is no way the wicked can prevail over the one with God.
The judgment of God is against the wicked in your life and the strength of God is breaking them in pieces this time.
YOU WILL SEE THE DOWNFALL OF THE WICKED – TRUST GOD!
PRAYER: Almighty God, end the oppression of the wicked in my life and let their evil go back to them in Jesus name Amen. I am liberated by the blood of Jesus Christ
