OPERATE IN UNUSUAL FAITH
MAIN TEXT: Daniel 3: 17 ‘’If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king.’’
Daniel 3:18 ‘’But even if he does not, we want you to know O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image gold you have set up’’
Facing the fiery furnace, the three Hebrew youths refused to compromise their faith, beliefs or change their behavior. The answer they gave to the king confounded Nebuchadnezzar. With the words, ’even if he does not’…. they took their faith to a higher level. They knew God could prevent it, but not that His plan called for it at that instance. They would rather die than deny or disappoint God. Understand this; God can take you out of a situation or bring you through it.
When He leaves you in it longer than you would like to stay, then He is developing in you an unusual faith. Unusual faith is dead to doubt and blind to impossibility. It reaches up through the threatening clouds and lays hold of the one who has all power in heaven and on earth. It makes the circumstances bearable and the future hopeful. Unusual faith believes that even if you do have to go through the fire, God will go through it with you.
Unusual faith holds unswervingly and tenaciously unto God, and never gives up, no matter the situation. This faith makes you as free in the fire of affliction as you are out of it. Furthermore, when your friends see the Lord in there with you, it will convince them like nothing else.

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to operate in an unusual faith to get unusual miracles in Jesus name.
