LET NOTHING STEAL YOUR JOY
MAIN TEXT: Romans 12:12—Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
Nehemiah 8:10—The joy of the Lord is your strength”
God has “joy” for the Christian in the time of our problems, joy is in Jesus, He is always present. Nothing should take away or steal the “joy” of the Christian life.
Sin can steal the joy of the Christian life, David experienced the loss of joy because of sin. Listen to his prayer, Psalm 51:2 “Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin”. God’s mercy is released for you.
Resist those “joy stealer” by renewing your confidence in God each morning by trusting God without wavering. Resist the demons attacking your joy through prayers. Then relax and rejoice. There are afflictions that target to destroy us, but there’s a divine provision of victory… God’s mighty hand is our defense.
Don’t compare your life with other people. There’s no competition in life that should put you under unnecessary pressure and discomfort. God deals with everyone differently. Do not succumb to the attacks coming your way, the end of the mesmerizing powers of the devil over your life has come today.
YOUR JOY IS SECURED IN CHRIST, HOLD ON TO HIM
PRAYER: In Jesus’ name, I declare that I will never lose my joy. Let the activities of joy stealer end in my life today. Amen
