Look forward
Main Text: Philippians 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the
high calling of God in Christ Jesus”.

Heavenly race is forward ever, backward never. It is God.s calling through Jesus Christ to grant you eternal life. To look forward is to be conscious in order to concentrate on the track of salvation.
Apostle Paul, a lawyer, a fanatic religious man persecuted Christians until he had an encounter that changed his life and faith. In Phil. 3:8 Paul; counted all his life achievements as loss and looked forward unto Jesus as His Lord and personal savior in order to make heaven.
To achieve a glorious eternity borders on integrity and self discipline. Yes, there are adversities on the way but God promised in 1 Corinthians 10: 13 that he will not allow you to be tested with what is above your control. Lot.s wife was asked to look forward and run into safety but fear and earthly pleasures made her to look backward and became a pillar of salt. Gen 19:26.
Noah found favour with God because he obeyed and looked forward unto God.
Noah and his family and everything God told him to gathers with him were the
only lives that survived the flood that destroyed Noah.s generation.
