SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT

SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT

Main Text: 1corinthians 12:1 -Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

1peter4:10: As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Spiritual gifts are for the advantage and salvation of others. There are various gifts and various offices to perform, but all proceed from one God. No man has them merely for himself, the more he profits others, and the more they will turn to his own account.

This means that once you desire to acquire a certain gift from the Holy Spirit, it is your duty as a child of God to understand that this gift desired by you is to bless others, as you begin to grow in this special gift, you will realize that more will be added unto you.

The basic ingredient one needs to manifest before receiving diverse of these heavenly gifts is the love of God, love is the primary substance that drives you to manifest your gifts. This same act of love teaches us to understand that freely we have received and freely we should give either in the act of service,
prophecy, hospitality, or administration. It should be aimed at improving the lives of others around you.

Paul saw the benefits of the spiritual gifts to the Christian and that led him to reveal and teach about the gifts. We should desire to manifest as many as we need for the service of God.

SPIRITUAL GIFT DISTINGUISHES AND ESTABLISHES A CHILD OF GOD
