WINNING BY ALL MEANS.
Main text: Proverbs 14:12-There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death.
Mark 8:36-For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and lose his soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Winning by all means is not of God. Many people in a bid to be successful have gone to unimaginable ends to achieve their desires. It is written; do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Their methods are not of God, it will always end in shame and death. Our God is a God of true judgement, He will never overlook sin. God never lies, so He does not expect His children to lie just to achieve success. He never slanders, He never makes fun of us, He understands all our pains, He promises to always be there and loyalty is a part of His character. Don’t put your confidence in powerful people, there is no help for you there (Psalm 146:3).
Winning by all means is not of God brethren, God has perfect timing for everything, trust Him. Remember, Jesus said, “follow me and I will make you fishers of men”. He is the Maker. Making yourself will only give you a temporary victory and that victory cannot stand the test of time. What you will be has been written even before you were conceived. David became became
the king of is real not because he killed Goliath but because he was chosen before he killed Goliath. Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless (Psalm 60:11).
Nothing that the devil gives you, gives you peace like the peace from Jehovah. When the devil gives you something, he will take more than he has given to you and you would lose your peace even with the riches around you. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is He that give the power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which He aware unto thy father’s, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:18).Remember, Gehazi wanted to win and grow rich by all means and he ended up growing rich of leprosy.
