LET GO AND LET GOD

LET GO AND LET GOD

Main text: Proverbs 3:5-6:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

1 Peter 5:7: Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of the most popular and quoted verses from scripture today. However, when we find ourselves going through trying times, we may often tend to forget all about this scripture. The Lord tells us clearly not to lean on (stand on/depend or have confidence) our own understanding. We are to let go and let God handle it. Why? Because “…Our thoughts are not God.s thoughts, Nor are our ways His ways.” – Isaiah 55:8

God knows exactly what He is doing and as Christians we should be able to trust Him no matter how difficult the situation may look. Remember Lazarus was dead for days but he still arose at the voice of God. Your situation can do the same thing when you let go and let God . When you understand how much God loves and cares for you, then you will have no problem letting it go because you know it.s in more than capable hands.

Let’s remember “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” – Matthew 21:22

Often we don.t receive what we ask for because we don.t simply believe God. The key to letting go of things we cannot control is having the faith in God that once we pray to Him we literally give it to Him. It is out of your hand and in the God.s hands. Let go and let God do the rest.

Burdens should automatically be lifted from you once you let go and praise to God should arise in your spirit because you know He is in control.

GIVE THAT PROBLEM TO GOD AND GO TO SLEEP

Prayer: Father I let go and hand over every matter of my life to you in Jesus name. Amen.
