DON’T IGNORE THE HOLY SPIRIT
MAIN TEXT: JOHN 16:7- “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you”.
1Thessalonians 5:19 – Do not quench the Spirit.
Life without the Holy Spirit is unexciting, hard, rough, and tough. The Christian Life is very challenging; well, that’s for one who ignores the Spirit of God. Listening to the Holy Spirit and following His leadings and guidance is so vital in the life of believers.
Many today have gotten wrong jobs, wrong relationships and made terrible decisions because they ignored the counsel of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Administrator of the Grace of Jesus Christ and the Love of God in all believes lives. He is the one that presence of Jesus real to us. He communicates the Mind of the Father. REASONS YOU SHOULD NOT IGNORE THE HOLY SPIRIT 1) When you walk by the Holy Spirit, listening and being guided by the Holy Spirit, you won’t consider the challenges you face as obstacles to your faith but as Bread. Turn to James 1:2. There is one living in you that helps you win and puts you over all of life challenges 2) The Holy Spirit was sent to help you live the overcoming life and bear you up in times of weaknesses and limitations. Rom. 8:2,9, 26. Never Ignore Him. 3) The Places you want to go today, He knows it, He knows it, He knows the traffic points and knows alternate routes you can take to get to your destination faster.. Yield to Him. 4) All knowledge or insights from the Word of God is Revealed through the Holy Spirit. He is the seal upon us, preparing us for rapture experience. 5) He is a gentle lover, can be grieved by disobedience and yet he Expresses the Real Love of God to all submissive hearts.
