Kingdom Service

Main Text: Matthew 19: 29 (KJV) “And everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren sisters, or father or mother, for my name sake, shall inherit everlasting life”.
Genesis 17:2 – Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.
The Lord Jesus assured his disciples in this context that we shall not go unrewarded in our service for him. A labourer shall not go unrewarded.
No little service we do for our Master Jesus shall go unnoticed. Men may forget, but our Lord Jesus does not forget labourers of love (1 Cor. 15:58).
It then behooves on us to be up and doing in the service of God, not as Men pleasers, or with eye service, but apt to please and glorify God in all that we do to enhance the kingdom of God, more especially in soul winning, ‘for he that winneth a soul is wise’ (Proverbs 11:30).
There is no loss in serving God, you may not see it immediately but be faithful in the work because there is unfathomable blessings in the kingdom service.
It pays to serve God faithfully.
Prayer Point: Oh! God, give me the grace to serve you till the end in Jesus Name.
