The Riches in New Birth
Main Text: 1st Peter 1:23 (KJV) “Being born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever”.
Ephesians 3:19 – and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
But with the precious blood of Christ “as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” 1st Peter 1:19. This text reveals the precious nature of the blood of Jesus that redeemed us from sin and death.
The riches in new birth is great and cannot be overemphasized, it is beyond human understanding. The benefit and reward that go with it cannot be fathomed. “As new born babies, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” 1st Peter 2:2. The unadulterated word of God build us up spiritually as lively stones. (1st Peter 2:5).
It is a privilege to be royal priest of God when we are built up by the word of God which is the riches and benefits in new birth. May we allow the Holy Spirit to build us up spiritually through his word. The riches of Christ cannot be fully received until the fullness of God dwells in us.
At this level, we are God-carriers, God doesn’t die nor grow old or weak. He doesn’t beg for goodness but goodness is at His command.
Desire the fullness of God in your life for the riches to manifest.
Prayer Point: Oh! God, cause me to thirst after your word in Jesus Name.
