THERE IS HOPE
Main Text: Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts I have towards you, saith the Lord; thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.
Psalm 12:5, “For they that sow in tears shall reap in joy”.
Many times, we are faced with numerous trouble of life, too many disappointments a lot of failures and setbacks. Too many doors we felt are positive and good for us are slammed right on our faces just as we were about to step right in, a lot of ‘no’s’ are said to our faces on a daily basis.
However, we should understand that those closed doors are God’s way of assuring us of brighter days ahead. God would not want to get us entangled with things, people or places that are not fit for us, so he would rather shut those doors than let us get in to meet a disastrous ending.
We should learn to understand that as good times come and go, the bad times as well will come and go, that no matter how deep, dark or heavy those clouds are, they will surely give way to golden rays of promising sunshine.
Every hope we need to have to turn our situations lies in the power of our minds and in the strength of our choices. We should decide to see heroes in zeroes, roses in rust, hopes in nopes, light in the night, strengths in weakness, fame in shame, glories in stories. We should know that the bad times we face today makes up our success story for tomorrow; hence we should be ready for them.
No great man ever grew without bad moments. We can choose to only see the brightness of the moonlight and not the darkness of the night. No cloud, no matter how deep or heavy it is, stands over a particular place forever, because, sorrows may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
Also, no matter the magnitude of our problems, God says His thought for us are greater than ours. We should stop making our problems bigger than God because it will not be solved. Our only hope is in Christ. (Isaiah 55:8-13, Matt 6:25-34).

Prayer point: Dear Lord, if at any time I loose faith in you, please remind me that your thoughts for me are for brighter days ahead.
