TOPIC: BUILD AND NOT DESTROY
MAIN TEXT: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it – Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
When the |Lord shall build Zion, he shall appear in His glory– Psalms 102:16 (KJV)
To build also means to construct or create an idea, something or someone out of shattered pieces or sometimes nothing. A dream that took almost a life time to build can be destroyed in a day by a negative person.
Therefore, to build a solid foundation of Christ in the hearts of our children, we must make feel loved and secure within them. We must make them realize that they are created in the image and likeness of God with special and unique talents. Hebrews 3:4 – For every house is built by some men; but he that builds all things is God.
To successfully build and not destroy is to find yourself and plan in the word of God and also surrounding yourself with friends and neighbours that have the mindset of Christ. Proverbs 16:9 – A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
Child of God, when you allow God to come into our hearts by meditating and studying the word of God and trusting God totally, He will build your business, family and marriage.
To build and not destroy means also to be deafen to negative thoughts and suggestions from the devil concerning your life’s goals.
Watch your actions and tongue for they destroy mansions in split second.
Prayer point: : Oh Lord, help me to be a repairer and restorer in my family in Jesus name.
