TEACH YOUR CHILDREN GOD’S WORD 2

June Day 25 Tuesday

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN GOD’S WORD 2

Deuteronomy 4:9- Only take heed to thyself and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy son, and thy sons‘ sons.

Psalm 34:11 – Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord

No parents can teach their children without the Holy Spirit. Sometimes they might not need scolding; they might just need a word. One of the attributes of the Holy Spirit is that He is a teacher. Put your children in the hands of the Holy Spirit, teach them to have relationship with God, teach them to read the word.

This world is too cruel for you to just leave your children on their own. Remember the adversary, he is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. I heard someone say anytime his children ask him for anything, he tell them to go ask God first. He is helping them to build a relationship with God.

Do not say my child is too young to know anything about God. Psalm 127:3-5 ” Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him”. Open their minds to the word of God so you may have peace at your old age.

Even if they go astray, the word of God will surely bring them back because they already have a foundation built on the word of God. Teach your child God’s word and great shall be your peace.

IF WE DON’T TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO FOLLOW CHRIST, THE WORLD WILL TEACH THEM NOT TO.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, Help me to teach the children you have given me your words. ( Amen)
