DON’T LOSE FOCUS
Main text: JAMES 1:8 – A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
PHILIPPIANS 4:8 –Whatever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, just, pure, lovely, good report; if there be any virtue, praise, think on these things.
Child of God, don’t lose focus because focus equals direction, focus equals power and strength. Most people are not focused, in their lives, and particularly in their approach to the future. They live totally frantic and scattered live, thinking that they are expending great amount of energy while striking no real target.
The real movers and shakers throughout history are individuals who have possessed a singular focus in life. The person with focus in life is virtually an unstoppable force. The person who desires to be great must bring his life into order. Jesus said in Luke 11:34, when thine eye is single, thy whole body also in full light. I am convinced that the only reason people fail is not laziness or lack of ambition, talent but fail because they lack focus (consistency).
Loosing or breaking focus has destroyed dreams and potentials of many people.
Don’t be counted as one of those that gave up on their dreams in the face of adversity. Proverbs 24:10 – If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Giving up is not from God. God shuns quitting because it is of the devil. God has bestowed in us all the ability to be resilient and resistant to changes as they come. To fulfil your destiny, you need to align yourself with the author of your destiny.
‘GOD WANTS US TO THING ABOUT EVERY SITUATION IN OUR LIVES THE SAME WAY HE THINKS ABOUT IT’.
Prayer point: O Lord, direct my focus to suit your purpose for my life.
