SHEPHERD OF MY SOUL

SHEPHERD OF MY SOUL

Main text: JEREMIAH 3:15 – And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

JOHN 10:14 – I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine.

A shepherd is a person who takes care of sheep. God is our shepherd and we are His sheep. We can also refer to the shepherd as our pastors or priests. Our pastors know our individual needs, challenges and successes we have made; that is why they know how well to direct us with the word of God when we encounter spiritual needs.

Not every spiritual need have same approach to tackling them. This different arise as we all have temperaments that differ so, the pastor understand all these by the Holy Spirit and know the best approach. Before Christ ascended to heaven, He told Peter to look after His flocks.

This connotes that God understands that believers will be faced with different challenges. God has equipped our priests with the Holy Spirit who empowers them discern the solution to our problems.

Sometimes, many Christians have died in silence by allowing their problems cripple them. They say, my pastor should know what they are passing through but forgetting they need to be told sometimes too as, they made be limited by the human environment.

God has given us pastors to declare and make pronouncements that will deliver our destinies to us. Make use of the pastor or priest over your life today. Jesus expects us His sheep to recognise the voice of our shepherd and come to Him willingly. Disregard the voice of strangers and pay attention to the divine instructions of God.

The bible tells us in John 10:4-5 that He is only responsible for those who identify with Him and obey His commandments. God is still speaking through the shepherds, listen to them and be rewarded with God’s abundance blessings.
