INCREASE YOUR WORD KNOWLEDGE

Main Text: 2 Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 3:16 – ‘Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God”.

No one can fully know all there is to know about God at once. Knowledge of God comes to us bit by bit, level to level. The bible is his personality, ways, works, power, love and generally the universe. Each verse you read reveals something about God, so you cannot say you have known enough. At any point, God reveals himself to anyone according to the level that person can handle.

To know more about God, you must increase your knowledge of his word and to increase in the word knowledge, you must study to show yourself approved unto God. Truth about God comes to us when we put our minds to knowing him. The bible is the word of God, and it is given to us as a guide to help worship God acceptably.

Therefore, you must consciously read it. Remember the degree/amount of the word you let into your heart determines the level of knowledge you gain. You desire to know God deeper, grow to maturity and become a “more than a conqueror Christian? READ the bible that is how to increase your knowledge of the word of God. Read and meditate and pray continually.

WHEN YOU INCREASE IN THE WORD KNOWLEDGE, YOU INCREASE IN POWER TO OVERCOME.

Prayer: Father, open my heart of understanding so that I can increase in the knowledge of your word.
