I AM GOD’S THOUGHT
MAIN TEXT: Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thought I think towards you, says the Lord, thought of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 139:17-18
How precious also are your thoughts to me, oh God! How great is the sum of them, if I were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand, when I am awake, I am still with you.
Most often, we feel insignificant and wonder if God really cares for us, especially when we face difficult situations or tough times. We feel Good has forsaken and forgotten us. In some cases, there were certain goals you hoped to reach by this particular stage of your life and here you are, haven’t reached those goals. You wanted to be at a certain level of success or it could be marriage, yet that hasn’t happened, and you are thinking, do God really think about me or maybe there are some certain individuals He mapped out to think of? The answer to that question is capital “NO”! You are in His thought every day, every minute and every second. Just the Isrealites, who must have been thinking: how could God allow them to be taken captive by their enemies not knowing God’s thought for them is to deliver them from their enemies through Moses (Exodus 3:6-8).
Sometimes God does not work the way that you would want Him to, He may lead you down some paths you did not want to walk. It is during those times when you must fall back on the love of God and remember that whatever He does in your life or fails to do, in your estimation is based on His love you need to remember that He has a purpose for you and it is of good.
He never stops thinking about you. And they are not thoughts of condemnation and judgment, but of love, adoration, good and not evil. How precious are His thought towards us. It is just too good to be true in our limited understanding but it is true.
GOD IS THINKING OF YOU TILL DATE. YOU ARE HIS THOUGHT.
Prayer: Father I pray that I might be able to receive the truth into my heart, so that I might be able to simply respond with loving thoughts back to you.
