BUILD SELF CONFIDENCE

MAIN TEXT – JOSHUA 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.

Jeremiah 17:7 – But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

To build self confidence in this context is to have self assurance in God, by living a life of trust in God without having to bury your face in shame. Proverbs 28:1b “…the righteous are bold as a lion..”. Beloved, you cannot afford to live your life anyhow, the word of God should be your ultimate guide in life to build your self confidence. Application of the word of God helps to build our confidence, because if we make success through obedience to God’s word, there is a confidence it gives to us as Christians.

The knowledge of who you are in Christ helps to give us confidence, we are the children of the Most High God. Remember that the image and likeness of God is you. Beloved, do not habour thoughts that undermine you. Proverbs 23:7 – “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”. We should focus on who we are in Christ which is our identity. Do not let anyone define you wrongly and do not forget that the Christ in us is the hope of all glory.

In addition, we must be very good at what we do. Improve your skills and abilities. When you have God and possess a good skill, you will stand tall above obstacles and competitors. You are the best of God in this time, believe it and work accordingly.

SEE GOD IN THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING YOU DO

PRAYER – My Father, my confidence is in you. Take me to another level of success in Jesus name.
