SHUT THE DOOR AGAINST DISCOURAGEMENT

SHUT THE DOOR AGAINST DISCOURAGEMENT

MAIN TEXT – 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 – In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ concerning you.

Christians believers need to shut the door against discouragement as this is one of the devil’s strategies to attack our faith in God. We have a daily responsibility to cast down wrong imaginations that are threats to our faith. The strong Christian is not without negative imaginations but he uses the word of God to destroy the powers of these imaginations and renders them unproductive. When we use God’s word to fight these imaginations, we overcome. What you accept in your mind becomes a planted seed that grows into a tree of negative thoughts bearing fruits of discouragement.

We will not fail to see the plans of God when we are not seeing things move as we expect them always. Man plans but God directs and knows how best to fix things for our good. For every believing Christian, all things are always working for the good of those who put their trust in the Lord. At the end your faith will surely speak.

Developing good relationship with God helps to give us hope for a better tomorrow, nobody walks with God and ends frustrated. Relationship with God makes us to be grateful always because gratitude shuts the doors against discouragement.

IN THE TIMES OF LONELINESS AND DISCOURAGEMENT, FIX YOUR WHOLE FAITH IN GOD. IT WORKS.

PRAYER: I cast down negative imaginations from my mind and I decree that I am a success in Jesus name
