GIVING GIVES MORE BLESSING 2
MAIN TEXT – Acts 20:35 – It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Ecclesiastes 11:1 – Cast your bread upon many waters for your reward may come when you do not expect it
Many blessings are derived from giving. When you give out, your hand is open to receive more from but, when your hand is closed nothing enters or goes out. Remember that givers never lack. God gives to the giver bountifully. Givers receive short term and long term rewards.
A relative once told how he enjoyed a drink for seven years, simply because he bought a drink for someone who could not afford one for himself at that moment but, when his economy improved he reciprocated the kind gesture to my relative till the giver relocated to another place.
You may not receive instant gain, applause or commendation, do not be weary in well doing, keep giving (Galatians 6:9). To get all the blessings of giving, you must be mindful of the motive of your giving. You MUST give for God’s glory and joy of the receiver and not for you to be noticed, appreciated or rewarded by man and you must give cheerfully.
God is interested in the heart of the giver. He wants to know if you are giving happily and selflessly or you are giving grudgingly and self-centered. Maintain the right attitude in giving and God will release more blessings to you so that you can reach out to more of his children.
GIVING IS THE ULTIMATE KEY TO WEALTH
