EVEN APPEARANCE MATTERS

EVEN APPEARANCE MATTERS

MAIN TEXT: Romans 14:21 – It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 – Abstain from every form of evil

.

We are addressed the way we are dressed. Excellence is first seen in your physical appearance. You don’t come into the presence of royalties in an unacceptable appearance. What you attract and how you attract it majorly depends on your physical appearance. It is always the first thing one is being judged by. How you dress, how you appear majorly decides how people treat you.

You can’t demand respect when you don’t even accord respect to yourself by your physical appearance. Your appearance either makes you or mars you; it either opens doors for you or locks you out of places you should have been if you did better. Sometimes, we are the architects of our problem. The way we present ourselves in certain situations, our physical appearance, our manner of approach, our mindset, are deliberate efforts to make things work in the right way.

You want to attract a lucrative job, stay smart, skillful, and godly. You think you deserve respect, accord yourself one. You think you deserve the best, strive to be the best. You alone can work out your success. Favor doesn’t totally depend on the prayers you make, or the number of hours you spend praying or the length of days you fasted. There will always be some work to put in to work out your favor.

DON’T BE A LAZY CHRISTIAN, PUT OUT THE WORK, DRESS SMARTLY, EDUCATE YOURSELF AND BE WISE!

PRAYER – Oh Lord, teach me to live for the good of my brethren and for myself in Jesus name.
