ENGAGING THE POWER OF GOD 2
MAIN TEXT: 1 KINGS 18:36 – … Elijah the prophet said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel…”
Romans 1:20 – For since the creation of the world, His invisible attribute are clearly seen … even His eternal power … so that they are without excuse …
In main text, Elijah the prophet engaged in the power of God in the contest with the prophets of Baal. They called on their own god, which we refer today as “powerless power” and he did not answer them, But immediately Elijah called on the power of God, God released His tremendous power that did the impossible. Anyone who engages in this power invokes heaven to do the impossible for with Him all things are possible. Hannah equally engaged in this power and barrenness was destroyed in her life. Every shame and reproach was rolled away.
It is often said that a prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian. In prayer, we are empowered to enforce the will of God in our lives and provoke the intervention of heaven on our behalf. The more we pray, the more we are exposed to God’s power in manifestation. Whatever you are passing through now may still be there because you have not engaged in the power of God.
No matter how great the invisible battles, they can only be confronted with a superior and invisible force that is in the power of God. Put aside all excuses today and engage in it and that power will give you a turnaround testimony.
THERE IS THAT POWER WHICH WORKS IN SPECTACULAR MIRACLES IN BELIEVERS LIVES
PRAYER: Help me, O Lord to engage in that power that is made perfect even in my weakness in Jesus name.
