GRACE FOR THE MOMENT

MAIN TEXT: And he said to me, ‘my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness’. Therefore, most gladly, I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me’ – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrew 4:16 (NKJV)

Many times, Christians foldly say, ‘I need His grace’ or ‘by His grace when asked to render a service to humanity or in church. From the passages of the scripture we have above, grace is obtained in the presence of God: once you approach God daily in prayer and devotion, God’s grace is activated in our lives. When you form the habit of fellowship with God (Holy Spirit), the grace that is able to quicken your mortal body is kindled.

Specifically, our main text admonishes us that God’s grace has the power to make alive, restore and strengthen every weakness in your life. You may have some pertinent need that you desire solution remember, the grace of God is available this moment to cause positive change in your life. We can obtain this special grace by doing just one thing: ‘…come boldly …’. When you seek God, recognise He is your father and He knows you by your name. Recognise there is no secret that is hidden from Him and just loosen yourself in His presence.

‘WHEN YOU PURSUE GOD’S PRESENCE, THE GRACE YOU NEED FOR THE MOMENT WILL BE RELEASED TO YOU.

Prayer Point: Oh Lord Jesus, help me hunger for your presence daily in Jesus name. Amen.
