Main text: Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and forever.
Deuteronomy 7:9 – Know therefore that Jehovah thy God, he is God, the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and loving-kindness with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
We cannot begin today’s study without discussing the personality and attitude of Jesus Christ, who is God. For our understanding, Jesus Christ is simply called Emmanuel – God with us. He chose to be condemned and die in the place of man.
Sin separated man from God and put him in a place of no restoration but Jesus Christ who is the anointed one, the saviour and Lord, sacrificed His life and comfort to come for us so that, man can be restored fully. Jesus Christ is the only way through which man can assess divinity and vice versa. He is the only God whose love for man, took Him to the path of our redemption. No other God died or will die for man. In Christ, all power and authority consists. He remains the head of all – Colossians 1:15-20
Jesus Christ is God and is too faithful to fail those who put their trust in Him. He does not break agreements. When we make covenant with Him, He keeps it with a thousand of our generations – This makes our God so trustworthy. Our generations to come, shall enjoy the blessings in the covenant we make with Him through our love for Him, obedience to His words and living uprightly to His glory.
GOD IS NOT STATIC BUT DYNAMIC IN HIS WORDS TO PERFECT ALL THAT CONCERNS HIS PEOPLE.
Prayer Point: Faithful God, consider your mercy and love towards me and deliver me from reproach in Jesus name. Amen
