Main text: Daniel 12:3 – And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
2 Timothy 3:15 – And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
From the above text, we can see that in the midst of great gloominess, the wisdom of the Lord will make us to shine as stars and live forever. When Jesus Christ walked this earth, men marvelled at His wisdom saying, ‘Even the storm and the rain obey Him. Wisdom is locating God’s way of doing things. Wisdom is the principal thing. It is standing on God’s style, God’s approach and method to get answers to your questions and solutions to your problem.
King Solomon was the king of Israel who enjoyed the wisdom of God all through his reign as king. With the wisdom of God on him, he was able to maintain peace in the land of Israel that all through his reign, Israel never fought a single battle. The scripture was fulfilled in his reign as king over Israel (Proverbs 1:5 – ‘That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; and that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels’). Solomon knew the essence of wisdom in his life.
He was a wise man indeed.Beloved, I urge you to seek wisdom today that your life’s journey may be free of disaster. The wisdom of knowing who Christ is and following after Him remains the ultimate. God’s wisdom is superior to man’s wisdom. ‘Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge are the chambers filled With all precious and pleasant riches – Proverbs 24:3-4.
