Psalm 119:105 – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
From oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary, the word flawless means perfect, correct, valuable, no fault. That implies that God’s word is perfect, correct, valuable and faultless. From our main text, the word of God is spirit and life. The word of God has stood for many years and always produced the same result when applied in real life situations. Beloved, you can only attain your full potential in life with the power in God’s word.
The word of God has the ability to create an edifice from nothing – by the word of word, God the universe (Genesis 1). Since all things were made by the word of God therefore, the word of God has the power to repair, heal, deliver, restore, protect, elevate and increase (Psalm 107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions). Are you in despair because your life seem void and shapeless? Allow God’s word to permeate your life for a change.
Remember, the earth was in that shape at the beginning but God made it beautiful just by His words. Those who live by God’s word avoiding the things of darkness because the scripture says we are the light of the word and as such, God expects that we live the Christ kind of life. Again therefore Jesus spoke unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12). If you allow God’s word into your life, you will have testimonies in Jesus name.
