GOD KNOWS ME 2

Main Text: Jeremiah 1:5 – I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.

Psalm 139:1-8

Firstly, to know means to be acquainted or familiar with a person, place or thing. There is a sense of comfort and peace that comes from being known and loved by someone talk more of the almighty God. God knows us down to our flaws and perfectly loves us, even more clearly and truly than we know and love ourselves without ulterior motives.

It is often difficult for us to know ourselves well, to discern clearly our longings, needs, and deepest desires. It’s no news the Bible in Romans 8:27a says ‘that He knows us far better than we know ourselves’.The knowledge that God knows us better than we even know ourselves gives us peace and strengthens our faith in God. Instead of murmuring when things go wrong, we tell Him that “even in the midst of the chaos and great pain, I trust that you know my deepest need.

So, you won’t try to run past him or tell him what’s best. Rather, you choose to acknowledge your limitations and weakness and trust that he is always working for your good.”The way a manufacturer that creates a product knows its functions, pros and cons is the same way God that created each and every one of us knows us down to our individual differences and temperaments.

So, be glad that God is in your corner and no disappointment or pain no matter how big would overwhelm you because one with God is majority and he won’t give you a burden he didn’t think you could handle.

HE KNOWS AND LOVES YOU PERSONALLY AND INTIMATELY.

Prayer: Father, thank you that you know me and love me perfectly. Teach me to trust you in every situation and circumstance, irrespective of how impossible it seems, believing that you work it for our good and your glory. Amen.
