Deuteronomy 7:13-15 – And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them, that hate thee.
Beloved, welcome to today’s devotional with the Holy Spirit. One of the characteristics of God is love. God’s love for those that fear him transcends human understanding. His love means that he wants the very best for you. He has the best interest of his children in mind. He wants’ to give you good gifts and also provide you with the benefits of salvation.
From our main text, we can see that out of God’s love for us, He freely gave us his Son to die for our sins for the purpose of redeeming us from destruction that was awaiting us. God’s immeasurable love for you brought your deliverance. Hallelujah! The benefits of God’s love can be seen in our reference text. When God loves, he brings multiplication to whatever is barren; He ensures that your possessions are safe and drives away sickness from your life.
This is our how much God loves those that fear him.However, for you to enjoy the benefits of His love, you must be born again, which will enable you enjoy your heritage in Christ.
WHEN GOD LOVES, HE SAVES YOU FROM DESTRUCTION
