ARISE TO REIGN 1
Main text: Genesis 1:26 -“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creep upon the earth.”
Luke 10:19 – Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
To reign means to possess and exercise sovereign power – to exercise authority as a monarch would. This topic is intended to help us realize who we are in Christ, what we have through Christ and how to obtain the blessings of God. God has given us that power, authority and control over everything He created on earth. He has done the needful and has given us that mantle, the key of authority to arise and be in charge.
For a child of God understanding it, it is crucial to walk with God. A lack of understanding in this area could cost you spiritually and naturally so. For you to arise to reign, you must know who you are in Christ and understand that in you through Him is the power to lay hold on the promises of God and possess them until the day of Christ. You must understand that you can do what God says you can do, have what He says you can have and be what He says you can be regardless of what things look like, seems like, sounds and appear like.
The dominion begins in you. You will never be able to exercise power or authority over anything until you have first conquered yourself. Except we first take dominion over ourselves, our habits, desires and unbridled lusts and passion that arise in us, we can never expect to have dominion over anything else. The moment we conquer “self”, then we are ready to conquer anything on this Earth.
IT TAKES DOMINION TO BREAK FREE FROM ANY FORM OF BONDAGE
