GOD IS THE ULTIMATE 2
MAIN TEXT – MATTHEW 6:33 – But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Colossians 2:10 – And in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:
Our relationship with God must be centered on all we do, both individual and corporately. If God is not central, we are off track. If our devotion for Him is lacking, we’re just playing church. We keep God central by continually coming to Christ and building upon Him. He is the author and giver of life, able to impact spiritual life to all who believe in Him, that is why we should come to Him and commune with Him daily, building everything in our lives on who He is and on what He has provided for us in His death and resurrection.
God is the ultimate. He is above all and all powers belong to Him. David said ‘I will look to the hills from where cometh my help? My help comes from the Lord’. It is in God we live, we move and have our being. Our faith is in the Lord who has the answer and solution to our problems. Our eyes should be fixed only on Him as the ultimate and Supreme Being who is able to do everything for us.
We should not fear demons, witches and circumstances as children of God. Our God has the ultimate power to deliver us from demonic influence and unfavourable circumstances. When God is your ultimate, your soul will prosper and your joy and peace will increase. He doesn’t expect you to live for Him in your own strength or ability, and He understands when you make mistakes.
LET’S CAST OUR FEARS ON HIM
