NO JEWS, NO GENTILES

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18

NO JEW, NO GENTILE

Main text: Galatians 3:26 – 28 – You are all sons of God through faith in Christ. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentiles, slave or free, male or female, for you are one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:13 – But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.

In the beginning, God created man. There was no difference among men. There was no higher man, there was no lower man. When Christ died for our sins, he died for all. We have one father, one God. We are all equal in the sight of God.

There is a saying that a stick of broom can be easily broken but a bunch of broom cannot be broken. Today, the church of God is divided in the name of doctrines and different teachings. The church is at war with itself because we fail to release we are on earth for one purpose and we have the same Father and the same Spirit leading us.

Apostle Paul was admonishing the Gentiles not to lose their faith, they should see their selves as sons of God because they have come to the light of God and with God all are equal. They are not inferior to the Jew; rather they are equal with them. Christians must come to this understanding, we cannot keep fighting ourselves.

We need to put to death doctrines and beliefs that are pulling us apart. The devil is using the different views and doctrines among us to pull apart the church of God and until we come into agreement, until we unite, we won’t be able to put devil in his place. There is a need for love and acceptance to strive in our mist. We must stop all condemnation and attacks against each other. Denominations should not pull us apart rather, they should unite us so we can pursue and establish the kingdom of God here on earth.

Let no one deceive us, God is the highest, no matter how rich or poor we are, no matter how free or bond you are, how high or low we are, we are one in Christ and we have been made for one purpose and that purpose is to bring all to the light of Christ. This can’t be achieved without love and unity. Let’s begin to see ourselves as one so as to achieve this glorious course.

THOUGH WE ARE MANY, WE ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST

Prayer: We put to stop every power pulling apart the Church of Christ and we take our stand every disunity and rivalry in the Church of God.
