ABIDE IN CHRIST

ABIDE IN CHRIST

Main text: John 15:7 – “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you: ye shall ask what ye will and it shalt be done unto thee”.

Philippians 2:12 – Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Salvation is the ultimate goal of every individual but the devil stands as a mighty giant to hinder it. Nevertheless, God has provided a way for man to overcome these dare devils. In John 14:6, Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father but by me.” God sent Jesus into the world to destroy every hindrance on the way of man to receive salvation through Christ because He loves man – John 3:16.

It is common knowledge that no branch of a plant can produce fruit unless it remains attached to the main plant. So Jesus spoke in John 15:4 that for you to receive and enjoy salvation, you as the branch of a plant, must abide in him and He also in you. For Christ to abide in you, it has so much to do with the quality of God’s word you carry and manifest.

The Bible admonishes you to enter through the narrow way which leads to life though few people enter it. Matthew 7:14.
Sincerely, you must be truly born again, an obedient soldier of the cross of Jesus Christ who should by grace try to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

SALVATION IS AN INDIVIDUAL EXERCISE AND NOT BY DENOMINATION

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to seek you in righteousness and holiness that my salvation may grant me eternal life at the end of the day. Amen
