GLORY IN PLACE OF REPROACH
Main text – Isaiah 54:11-12 – Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with lapis lazuli. I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
Psalms 3:3 – But you, Lord are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts my head high.
The Psalmist, King David recognised God as a shield and his glory, the one who lifts his head high. Reproach destroys the shield around us. This shield guards and preserves us for spectacular honour from God and man. When a man is enjoying God’s glory, his head is lifted high which signifies relevance. Glory is the will of God for all the family of God. We cannot worship the God of glory and be clothed with reproach – This is an error and a work of the devil.
Entanglement with satan and his works attract reproach even when God’s plan is glory. The evil activities in our families can build a solid foundation of reproach and it becomes a battlefield for those who believe in the God of glory. Prayers to God without wavering in our faith destroy such evil family foundations. One can face reproach in the place of his business through the wrong activities by himself or his enemies too.
Today, aggressively tear down every garment, curtains and materials of reproach around or within you by praying in the Holy Ghost and you will see them give way for the full manifestation of God’s glory in your life.
TO WORSHIP GOD IS THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN HIS GLORY.
Prayer: Oh Lord of glory, change every identity of reproach in my life. Let your glory be my glory. Amen
