CARNALITY IS A CANKER WORM
Main text: Romans 8:13 – For if you live according to the flesh, you will die but if by the spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Romans 8:7 –Because the Connor mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God nor indeed can be.
A canker worm is simply a destructive force or it can be a corrupting force that eats to death. Carnality means to live according to the desires of the flesh. Engaging on activities that are very sweet and pleasurable to the body but still has a strongability to control, subdue and destroy the victim.
The Bible says, if we live according to the flesh, we will die. This is a strong statement and proven fact. You know that there is a struggle in your life, you have wished to stop but the act keeps deepening – That is the cankerworm working to stop you.
If we do not stand to stop the cankerworm, the canker worm is seriously working to stop or limit us. So, it is a fierce battle that you have every authority to conquer. Carnality makes a person the enemy of God because the carnal minded person works in rebellion against God.
The spirit of God activated upon the believer is the secret of overcoming the dominance of carnality. The mind that loves God does the will of God. It is the leadership of the Holy Spirit that breaks the yoke of carnality and liberty sets in. Connect to the Holy Spirit now. Your strength and will cannot defeat carnality.
BBREAKING FREE FROM CARNALITY IS NOT EASY BUT ENGAGING THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES IT POSSIBLE.
Prayer: In Jesus name, I command the yoke of carnality in my mind and body to break and be destroyed. Amen.
